Below are the details of what the WaggyWalk Guarantee covers, rules, procedures and FAQ.
The WaggyWalk Guarantee is intended to provide reimbursement in the unlikely case of damage or injury during our scheduled and paid services, be it home-sitting or walking your pet.
Scope of Guarantee
- Costs related to veterinary treatment for your pet, if injured while looked after by walker and/or sitter
- Costs related to veterinary treatment of walker’s/sitter’s pets caused by client’s pet (if the pet owner is responsible)
- Compensation for pet owner’s personal property damaged by sitter/walker
- Verifiable damage to a third party, if inflicted by a client’s pet
Guarantee does not cover the following:
- Damage or injury that ocurred outside of scheduled, booked and confirmed services provided by WaggyWalk
- Compensation for extended care, beyond 30 days from the moment of injury
- Reimbursement for veterinary/medical bills related to preventive care and/or caused by previous and/or chronic conditions(s)
- Treatment to rid pets of ticks, flease or other parasites
- Compensation for possible property damage caused by the client’s own pet(s); compensation for damage to the property of walker/sitter or other persons
- Personal injury to service provider (walker, sitter); personal injury of pet owner/client
Maximum compensation
- $25,000 for veterinary care
- $1,000,000 for pet owner’s property in case of damage caused during scheduled service
- Important: In case of any reimbursements, pet owner and/or care giver contributes with $250. WaggyWalk reimburses only the costs in excess of $250.

You are protected
In an unlikely event that our service provider is suddenly prevented from showing up for walking or sitting your pet, you are protected.
Refund option
Refund is applicable if a walker or sitter cancels up to seven days before scheduled service. You are also eligible for $20 compensation to facilitate your search for alternative service.
In case of insufficient information or cooperation from the pet owner that results in canceled service, the client is not eligible for compensation for making a new booking.
